COUP DE BLUES

This installation, made of dozen of eggshells in suspension, evokes a cloud of blue gradations. The eggshells have been dipped in red cabbage juice or vegetable food colouring. Each egg is reminiscent of a micro-planet, and no two are alike. As time goes by, the colours become duller and fainter. How long will we be able to see them? The fragility and ephemeral nature of these objects reinforce their uniqueness.
